Yeah, I had fun depicting these guys as babies, and I absolutely LOVE how Mason turned out; I was proud of how I did his coloring, and his eyes.

I'm glad you like how Kayne turned out... he looks pretty good, I think, but Mason is definitely my favorite part of this picture, considering that the original foal picture was more of a smoky buckskin color, and I managed to alter it's color into an iron gray.

Anyway, thanks for the ! Once again, I'm really glad you like it.

I still miss you and Mason over at Ilius, BTW... any chance that you might come back, some day?

i just finished my first really important exams before the summer, so that took up a lot of time.

^{wow, i love this manip, corrupt! the colours match perfectly between the foals and the background and i absolutely love how you do a different take on horse eyes, making them look more serpentine rather than simply human or realisticly horse-like. even though you say in your artist comments that you think you messed up the mane and tail on kayne, i think he looks amazing (and i bet the red was a pain to blend, but again, it looks flawless with the colour scheme!) amazing job - i wish i could read more on their story (they seem like they would be a riot to follow up on!), but in any case, keep up the great work!

Haha... yeah, my horse characters are not exactly what you would call, uh... normal, I guess is the word? lol I love them that way, though; especially my Kayne and his infamous black body with red mane/tail, fangs, and of course, his "serpent eyes."

Anyway, thank you so much for the compliments! I'm glad you like how Kayne looks, too; and yeah, it's hard to find backgrounds that really look good, with his odd color scheme... this one just seemed to work, though. ^^ I mainly say that I messed up his mane and tail, because, earlier, before I got him all cut out and placed into the background, and everything, I had his mane and tail smudged just the way I wanted them... but I ended up having to do a bit of tweaking after placing him in the background, and so... yeah. lol ><

Haha... unfortunately, a lot of the foalhood part of these guys' stories is pretty much non-existent; the RPG that me and junk (Mason's player) used to play on closed down shortly after Kayne and Mason were born, so we didn't really get to do much as far as RPing them as foals... The RPG re-opened a couple of months or so later, though, and they met up again, as 3-year-olds, and I have those posts saved... I've actually considered uploading some of my better posts on DA, so the people who are curious to get a better insight on Kayne (and Abhorrence), can, even if they don't actually RP with them... I dunno, though. lol

I know u prolly has a story behind these two...I like the grey and black one...he seems like he's evil but not evil, I can't really explain but u know what I mean. Exellent job!! It really catches my attention and is giving me some killer ideas!
